Lighting the fuse
I’m popping out the fireworks this Independence Day, which happens to be the day Eureka Springs celebrates as its birthday. What happened (or didn’t happen) that day in 1879 will, of course, be in my upcoming book Welcome to Eureka Springs: The I-Sh*t-You-Not History of America’s Quirkiest Town.
I expect to launch the book next spring in electronic, print, and audiobook editions, but the fireworks are for today’s reveal: the cover.
Local artist Robert Roman Norman, who splits his time near family in Michigan, provided the artwork. European graphic artist Josefina Bravo Burnier molded the pieces into the perfect whole.
